Pricing

A homeowner is not charged for our referral service because service professionals pay advertising fees to participate in Home Improvement Helpers’ network. Basically service professionals specify the type of work they do and the location area they serve.

Consequently we provide new customer leads that match these requests and service professionals pay a fee for each lead they receive. Finally these fees do not affect a homeowner’s project estimate.

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to negotiate with a remodeling contractor. So, as in any negotiation, the more knowledgeable you are, the better chance you have to negotiate the best deal.

The best deal does not necessarily mean the lowest contractor bid price. Instead the homeowner should place close attention to the terms, conditions and quality in any contractor quotation. Finally, when in doubt or something is not clear, you should ask questions and review it in writing.
